Charlotte Pelegrin
I’m Charlotte Pelegrin. I’m from France and have always been deeply curious about every language I’ve encountered, driven by my love of storytelling and books.
In fact, I studied languages and literature in several different countries before going on to teach my own language, as it is the one I love most and, of course, the one I know best.
Over the years, working with corporate learners, students in schools, and people who simply have a passion for languages, I have developed a highly communicative and empathetic teaching approach. My aim is to build learners’ confidence in expressing themselves while making the most of the skills they have already acquired and helping them strengthen their pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.
I see language almost as a living being, so I try to nurture its vitality and inspire curiosity through a variety of materials, including texts, music, expressions, etymology, images, and metaphors. In this way, I aim to engage as many different ways of learning and remembering as possible—visual, auditory, physical, and associative—while appealing to each learner’s individual sensibilities.
Have you ever thought about what your own learning style might be?

I believe that truly learning a language is only possible when you feel welcomed, understood, and free to express yourself without fear. For me, teaching means guiding each student on a personal journey built on trust, active listening, and individual growth.
For over twenty years, every learning journey I have created has grown from the meeting of different stories, goals, and personalities, and it is precisely this uniqueness that makes each experience special. The relationship I build with my students is at the heart of my work: through dialogue, collaboration, and mutual respect, I create a positive and motivating environment where learning becomes natural, engaging, and enjoyable.
Learning a language means discovering new ways of seeing the world. That is why, in my lessons, I aim to share not only the Italian language, but also the beauty of its culture, emotions, and human connections that come to life through language.
